Saint Joseph International Nursery (CISJ) located in the NAPE area is opened for enrollment into its high quality and professional infant and toddler care service. The nursery promotes learning through play in a play-based, multicultural, hands-on learning approach. It is now opened for visits by appointment with the nursery.
CISJ is supported by the Social Welfare Bureau of the MSAR Government and provides diversified childcare services. The philosophy of the nursery is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that offers the developmental needs of each child from 1 to 3 years old. CISJ provides high quality, professional and convenient infant and toddler care, ensuring a play-based, multicultural, hands-on learning approach, and a theme-based approach to ensure a way of embracing learning through play, whereby many areas of the curriculum connecting and integrated within a theme.
The location in the Nape area provides easy access which is ideal for working parents. The spacious premise provides classrooms containing separate areas with an original, natural, nurturing environment, they consist of reading corners, construction areas, sensory play, role play and music areas. An indoor playground area is set up with play structures provided with rich opportunities for children to move around, dance, explore gymnastic and develop their gross motor skills. It also consists of an Art area inspired by Reggio Emilia’s approach to further develop children fine motor skills, creativity, critical thinking, aesthetic learning and sensory exploration.
The CISJ opens from 8:00 to 18:00 from Monday through Saturday offering a full-day programme where children can be exposed to Cantonese, English, and Portuguese.
