Arrangements for Typhoons / Heavy Rains / Storm Surge (According to the guidelines of the Social Welfare Bureau of MSAR Government):
- When the warning signals of Rainstorm, Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3 are in force, the Nursery provides services as usual and parents can decide whether to send their children to the nursery.
- When it is known that the typhoon signal No. 8 will be hoisted, parents are required to pick up their children as soon as possible. The Nursery will arrange staff to take care of toddlers who are in the Nursery until they are picked up.
- When the typhoon signal No. 8 is off, the Nursery will resume operation within 1.5 hours and will arrange staff to provide services;
However, if the typhoon signal No. 8 is off after 2:30pm, the nursery will remain closed for the day.
Saint Joseph International Nursery is a nursery supported by the Social Welfare Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and provides childcare services.
