I am Tam Hoi Io (Mabel Tam) from Macau. I studied in Taiwan, earning a BA in English Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

Since 2021, I have gained four years of experience in early childhood education and currently teach at a nursery.

Before joining CISJ, I worked at a traditional Catholic nursery with structured teaching methods. At CISJ, I embraced the Reggio Emilia philosophy—valuing children as protagonists, the environment as the third teacher, and the learning process over outcomes. This inspired me to shift from teacher-directed to child-centered, inquiry-based teaching.

I believe in "accompanying children in learning through daily life and growing through exploration." Seeing their daily progress—in language, emotions, and social skills—keeps my passion alive. I am committed to guiding each child's unique growth with patience and care.
