Philosophy and Mission
“CISJ is an International Catholic Nursery that educates and cares for children under the values of love, acceptance, faith, and hope!
The philosophy at our Nursery is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that offers the developmental needs of each child from 1 to 3 years old.
We provide high-quality, professional and convenient infant and toddler care, ensuring a play-based, multicultural and hands-on learning approach. CISJ is a Reggio Emilia-inspired nursery; we believe that children are capable and can extend their knowledge by exploring and through their own experiences.
Through the teachings of the Catholic faith, children learn about love, compassion, forgiveness, and the importance of serving others. It provides them with a moral compass and a sense of purpose, guiding them to become responsible and virtuous individuals.”
Curriculum
The Theme Based Approach is a way of teaching and learning whereby many curriculum areas are connected and integrated within a theme.
Also, CISJ follows the IAS framework and the activities are inspired by Reggio Emilia’s philosophy.
Saint Joseph International Nursery is a nursery supported by the Social Welfare Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and provides childcare services.
