My name is Pedro, and I am originally from Portugal. I have lived in Macau for 12 years.

I pursued a Post Graduation in Infant Education (PGDE) at the University of Saint Joseph (Macau). In addition, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts in Tourism with majors in English and Spanish languages from the University of Coimbra.

I have been qualified to teach young children in the past few years as a Portuguese and English language tutor and as an intern teacher in a local kindergarten, and it has been an enriching experience that has consolidated my passion for early childhood education.

In the past, I have worked in a corporate environment dedicated to training and developing new talents and mentoring them on their path, which sparked my passion for being an educator.

I am genuinely inspired by Reggio Emilia’s approach as young children have outstanding capabilities, and our most significant role is to guide them to discover it and create a positive classroom environment where learning comes from experiences.

I look forward to working with our children in CISJ and fostering their growth and development.
