Hi, I am Ricardo Rodrigues. I am a Portuguese person who has been living in Macau for ten years. I have taught young children for about five years using the Reggio Emilia-inspired educational approach. I hold a PGDE in Infant Education, a degree in accounting, a BSc in Anthropology, and a Masters’s degree in Business Administration. I also have a Certificate issued by the Portuguese government that allows me to teach professional courses in Portugal (CAP).

I have worked as a sub-teacher in TIS, have been a tutor, and also worked in a playgroup in Macau, providing children with different learning strategies and play-based approaches; also, Reggio Emilia’s educational approach inspired me.

Teaching children is my passion, and my academic and professional experience gave me the essential skills to deliver instruction, manage the classroom environment and focus on creating positive environments in which children can feel valued, learn and grow.

I am passionate and happy to work at CISJ as a teacher!
