Message from the Coordinator

Hi everyone, my name is Sandra Monteiro; children call me Ms “SamSam”.

I have been in CISJ since 2021, and I immediately recognized a personal connection to this mission and found a professional home.

As the coordinator of CISJ Parenting Center, I work with the board of Directors to build a strong organization. I collaborate with CISJ staff, who are extremely welcoming and made of good-hearted people, to offer relevant and quality service in early childhood education.

I want to invite the Macau community to join CISJ parenting center events, hoping to build a strong, successful environment for parents, children and families.

Everyday, I’m energized by the deep belief in supporting, and empowering young children. In addition, refining the skills of the adults in their lives is the path to a strong and healthy future for all of us.

I particularly enjoy watching the parents rediscover real play as they attend our parent-child workshops. I find it so rewarding to see the parents walk away with confidence in their new parenting capabilities after our seminars.

I work on other projects when I’m not in CISJ, such as voice-off for local radio commercials or traveling. I also attend professional development and cooking, and I love essential oils because they can help us to relax and create a robust immune system. We use it in our nursery to boost a positive and relaxed environment.
