Hi, my name’s Charlina Carino. Originally from the Philippines but spent most of my years living here in Macau.

Back in 2020, I was given the opportunity to work as an English tutor in an education centre. This was officially the start of my journey to Education. For the past three years, I’ve worked as an English Teacher and a Playgroup teacher for children ages 2-14 years old. Thus to further my knowledge and skills in providing for the children, I was able to take a Post-Graduate Diploma in Infant Education at University of Saint Joseph in 2022. Taking this course honed me and provided me with new skills to be a better educator. With these educational background and experiences, I hope to provide the children with fun and excitement, whilst still having a safe learning environment, through play and real life experiences.

I graduated high school with the three major branches of science (Physics, Chemistry, & Biology) as my elective courses, thus equipping me with basic knowledge of the subjects. I am also a bachelor holder in International Hospitality and Tourism Management and was able to work in the F&B industry for almost 4 years. This experience gave me the opportunity to develop on my social and communication skills.

I am thankful and honoured to be a part of the CISJ family. I am looking forward to exploring and having fun with all the children!
